Job Overview
We seek a reliable, consistent and physically fit General Labourer to join a team of 3.
The successful candidate will be involved in a variety tasks while supporting the installation of resin flooring throughout the country to environments such as commercial kitchens, Leisure centres, Pool surrounds and Theme parks . We are a small outfit that solely concentrate on quality installs. This role offers an opportunity for individuals interested in learning a trade. Prior experience in flooring or construction is welcomed but not essential, as training will be provided. What is essential is general tidiness, attitude and work ethic. The position is paid weekly and suitable for those on the younger side of life to develop practical skills within a fast paced environment.
Must be comfortable with staying in accommodation provided with the team when contracts are too far to travel.
Pay increases with experience and skill level, that depends solely on you.
Duties
- Assisting with pre floor preparation, including grinding, removing, and general labouring duties.
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely to carry out various tasks
- Supporting install activities such as mixing, organising and material handling.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and functional.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe at all times
- Supporting team members with general labouring duties across multiple projects
Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge in contract or commercial flooring is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and hand tools is advantageous
- Basic understanding of site work and general maintenance preferred
- Ability to undertake physically demanding tasks in pressure environments
- Good organisational skills with attention to safety procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills and work effectively as part of a team.
- Contracts are undertaken nationwide so candidate must be able to drive and posses full uk driving license. ESSENTIAL.
Pay: From £125.00 per day
