The Neurology Research Team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Neurology Research Nurse to join our expanding clinical research team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Neurology studies and improve outcomes for patients participating in clinical trials.
It is a full time position (1.0 WTE),with a permanent contract and the post will be based at Leeds General Infirmary Hospital. We are occasionally working across St James Hospital, Seacroft Hospital , Wharfedale Hospital and Chapel Allerton.
The post holder will contribute actively to the conduct, coordination, and delivery of the Neurology Research Portfolio.
The main tasks are:
- Coordinating and managing Neurology clinical trials.
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff members.
- Screen, recruit, consent, and support patients participating in research studies.
- Treatment delivery of IMP and conducting the Follow up.
- Leading the Clinical Trials.
In addition of being responsible for ensuring that high standards of clinical care planning, delivery, safety, and patient satisfaction are to a very high standards, compliance with Trust policy, study protocol requirements, local and national guidance and legislation is required
