We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aftercare Manager to oversee the stages of our onsite bathroom snagging and repairs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising finishing activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining efficient workflows. This role requires an understanding of plumbing systems, bathroom installation practices, strong management capabilities, and excellent organisational skills.
Duties
- Have a practical knowledge of plumbing, basic carpentry, electrics, tiling, decorating
- Lead and supervise the finishing team to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with site team and other departments to plan snagging lists and schedule finishing activities.
- Monitor progress on-site, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Ensure all finishing works comply with safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Manage procurement of finishing materials and liaise with the offsite planner to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality workmanship and adherence to snagging specifications.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Maintain detailed records of work progress, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented.
- Facilitate effective communication between Management, contractors, and internal teams regarding project status.
Qualifications
- A recognised qualification in plumbing or a related field is preferred.
- CSCS card is required, SSSTS and SMSTS would be an advantage.
- Proven management experience within related industries, with a focus on finishing works.
- Supervising experience is essential, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple skills simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on clear reporting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
- Ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts efficiently, and maintain high standards of workmanship.

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
