Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Blaster to join our team. The Blaster will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting by using abrasive blasting equipment to remove dirt, rust, old paint, and other contaminants.
Responsibilities
- Operate abrasive blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear
- Inspect surfaces after blasting to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain and clean blasting equipment
- Work in collaboration with the painting team to achieve project goals
Qualifications
- Experience with abrasive blasting techniques
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to weld, fabricate, assemble, and paint
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous
