Are you an ambitious and commercially minded senior Director ready to lead the growth of a multisite, nationwide operations business? Glendale Countryside Ltd, a respected leader in the green services sector with revenues exceeding £75 million, is seeking a high-calibre Regional Director to spearhead our East division.
We are looking for a visionary leader with a demonstrable track record of successfully growing and developing a business within a frontline operational environment. This is a chance to join the Executive Team and make a critical impact as we execute our strategy to grow profit at EBITDA to £7 million.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for all services delivered across the East region, motivating and leading contract managers and staff to achieve approved profit targets. This role is about more than management—it’s about strategic growth, operational excellence, and leadership:
Business Growth
Secure sales and identify new business development opportunities.
Negotiate and secure long-term contracts.
Drive sustainable revenue growth across the region.
Operational Leadership
Provide strategic guidance and operational leadership across complex service operations.
Successfully manage geographically dispersed teams delivering a range of countryside and management services.
Ensure operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Financial Performance
Take full responsibility for the region’s financial performance.
Set and manage budgets, monitor financial reports, and ensure profit targets and margins are achieved or exceeded.
Deliver strong commercial outcomes while maintaining service excellence.
Brand Enhancement
Promote Glendale’s services across the region.
Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
Strengthen the company’s reputation as a trusted, high-quality service provider.
Your Profile
You will be a Director or Senior Manager with strong operational awareness within the support services sector, preferably with experience in securing revenue opportunities. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Strong leadership skills and sound business acumen.
Proven ability to manage complex, multisite operations requiring consistently high service levels.
Commercial awareness with a track record of delivering profitable growth.
Vitality, resilience under pressure, and a high level of energy and drive.
A clear understanding of customer requirements and service excellence.
A commitment to championing Health & Safety and compliance throughout the region.
