We are a property maintenance, renovations and fencing company delivering high quality work across the Midlands for residential properties.
We are looking to appoint an experienced estimator to join our team and support our continued growth.
Role Overview-
Your role and responsibilities will be to attend residential properties and prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates within expected timescales.
You will work closely with the director and office team to ensure pricing is in line with company strategies and expectations.
This role will also include actively seeking out new business partnerships and generating new leads - turning these into secured business.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough site visits to evaluate property or fencing requirements - a company vehicle will be provided for these visits.
- Collect all essential measurements, pictures and specifications.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials and labour.
- Source and liaise with suppliers to obtain the best prices.
- Target and approach new business opportunities.
Experience / Requirements-
- Proven experience of at least 8 years in the property maintenance industry and estimating property works or fencing projects with a strong focus on cost control
- Knowledge of fencing materials, construction methods, and property layout considerations
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with the ability to put these into practice and work independently.
- Strong communication skills for liaising effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail..
- Ability to manage multiple quotations simultaneously while maintaining accuracy in estimates
- Familiarity with estimating software or tools used in construction or property development is advantageous
- Full driving licence essential.
