Due to the continued growth of our production company, we have an exciting full-time entry-level opportunity for a painter/decorator within the business-to-business exhibition stand build industry. The role is based at our Daventry site, with opportunity for site work both within the UK and across Europe.
Previous painting and decorating experience is preferred, but not required, and an ideal candidate will maintain a strong work ethic and be eager to learn. This role will work closely with the paint shop manager and wider production team, ensuring the quality and timely completion of all associated tasks, including but not limited to:
· Application of paint and other finishes to various surfaces, namely stand-build and engineering elements, via brush, roller, and spray, to professional standards and production requirements.
· Preparation of surfaces and components, including sanding and filling, prior to application of paint or finishes.
· Organisation of projects, warehouse, and workspaces. Working closely with production teams to resolve technical and production challenges.
· Maintaining associated equipment and adhering to cleanliness, and health and safety protocols.
An ideal candidate will:
· Be experienced in painting/decorating (though not essential).
· Have a strong attention to detail and deadlines.
· Have a positive attitude and ability to work effectively both individually and within a team environment.
· Have an enthusiasm to take on more responsibility.
· Be self-motivated, proactive, have a desire to learn, and an ability to take initiative.
