PB Tyres (UK) LLP is a family run business with over 40 years’ experience within the commercial tyre industry. We are a tyre wholesaler and one of the UK’s biggest truck tyre casing specialists and carry out vulcanised major repairs and manufacture our very own truck tyre re-treads at our site located in Great Brickhill, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
We are looking for a motivated, reliable Trainee Tyre Repair and Retreading Production Line Operative to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and continue to build on new skills and secure a rewarding career in the tyre industry.
The role will include:
· Thorough examination and inspection of casings/tyres
· Investigating faults
· Completing repairs with knowledge of repair limits
· Tread preparation and application
· Pressure testing
· Completion of paperwork to company standard & more.
You will be required to use a range of hand tools and machinery within our facility. Full ongoing training will be given to ensure work is carried out to the correct legal criteria and to company standards. PPE is supplied.
Responsibilities / experience and skills required:
As this is a trainee role no experience is necessary however any previous mechanical, technical or production roles would be an advantage. The individual we are ideally looking for must:

· Confident, enthusiastic, reliable and flexible if required
· Have a keen eye for detail and work well under pressure
Salary & benefits:
· Starting from £29,600 basic salary
· 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Hours of Work
Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.30pm, Saturday 8.00am – 12.30pm
