Duties
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and control systems within biogas plants
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical components to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques, resolving problems promptly
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to upgrade or modify electrical systems for improved efficiency
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and repair tasks
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, electrical codes, and environmental regulations
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately for record-keeping purposes
Requirements
- Proven experience working with electrical systems in industrial or renewable energy settings
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting methods
- Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and multimeters
- Experience using power tools for installation and repair tasks
- Electrical experience related to control panels, wiring diagrams, and automation systems preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics clearly
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
- Working away from home necessary
