Cymru Quarry Group are suppliers of granite & limestone aggregates, asphalt, readymix concrete, liquid screed as well as construction services such as road resurfacing & civil engineering, operating all over Wales.
We supply quarried materials, stone, concrete, readymix and tarmac from seven granite, limestone and sandstone quarries, three asphalt plants, eight concrete plants. We also deliver multimillion pound infrastructure projects and suppling the majority of the labour as well as the materials from our own resources. Our employees are skilled in road surfacing, paving and utilities works.
We are looking for a permanent Class 2 HGV Ready-Mix Driver to be based around our sites in the Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire area. In return we offer a competitive salary, with overtime rates.
The Role: Subject to Passing a Drug and Alcohol Test
· You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to various locations.
· Complete daily vehicle checks
· Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.
· Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
The Person:
· The applicant must hold a current Class 2 license with CPC
· Willing to be flexible with hours to meet our business needs.
· Customer focused with ability to build relationships
· Good time keeper and able to work unsupervised
· Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
