Main Responsibilities
Production Kitting: Accurately pick parts and components while maintaining traceability to create comprehensive build kits for the production team.
Bulk Issue Replenishment: Actively monitor and replenish bulk-issue items and consumables on the production to ensure manufacturing runs seamlessly without downtime.
Packing and Dispatch: Carefully pack finished products to high standards, ensuring they are protected for transit, and liaise with customer services department for documentation & necessary shipping labels.
Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and audits to ensure the physical inventory matches the inventory management system. Investigate and report any discrepancies.
Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in the stores and packing areas.
Experience / Qualifications
Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Required work experience, skills or education must include
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team to support production deadlines.
- Physical ability to carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving boxes.
- Strong numerical skills
- Driving licence
- Basic computer literacy
