Location: Filey, North Yorkshire
We are recruiting for a seasonal relief Chalet and Beach Superintendent to work in Filey over the summer months. Based at the chalet office on Royal Parade, you will work as part of a team to provide a visual presence on and around the beach to help ensure that all visitors are able to enjoy the amenities respectfully, and to be the face of the Authority, liaising with tenants for chalet rentals including key management. You will be expected to work as part of a rota including weekends and bank holidays. Weekly hours will be worked on a rota basis in accordance with the needs of the service.
Duties will include:
- Assist with administration of the chalet rentals and liaison with tenants including key management.
- Undertake regular cleansing in preparation for change over between customers.
- Contribute to paddling pool and fountain maintenance to keep the sites safe, clean and tidy for the safety of staff and visitors.
- Monitoring and recording regular checks of life saving equipment including reporting of any defects.
- To place and remove portable signs informing the public of Beach Dog Bans on slipways and promenades.
- Advise dog owners of their responsibilities in relation to refusal to leave the designated Dog Ban area or fouling offences and report any breaches.
