Apardion are seeking a vigilant and adaptable Ad Hoc Security Officer to provide security services on an as-needed basis across various sites across Aberdeen. The role involves monitoring premises, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and responding swiftly to any incidents. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular surveillance patrols of designated areas using CCTV systems and physical inspections to deter unauthorised access or activities.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards
- Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, including medical emergencies, by administering first aid if required.
- Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation of any irregularities or incidents encountered during shifts.
- Enforce site policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Liaise with emergency services when necessary, providing clear information and support during incidents.
Experience
- Previous experience in security or surveillance roles is advantageous but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and loss prevention techniques is desirable.
- Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential qualities for this role.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are important.
