- Monday – Friday
- 7:00am – 5:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid break
We are looking for a reliable General Operative to join a busy metal recycling and scrap yard in Saltley, Birmingham.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role carrying out general manual duties across the yard.
- Sorting and separating different types of scrap metal

Stripping components and materials
-
Processing and preparing metal for recycling

General manual handling and yard labouring
-
Keeping the yard clean, tidy and organised

Supporting the wider site team as required

Following all site health & safety procedures
- Previous recycling, scrap yard, labouring or industrial experience preferred

Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

Reliable with a strong work ethic

Good attitude and willingness to learn

Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
