Experience of managing staff
Experience of buildings health & safety and/ or property management
Level 3 qualification in working with people at risk who are homeless, social care, education, support services etc.
L3 leadership & Management qualification or willingness to work towards one
Ability to manage and support a team to achieve targets
Good analytical and problem solving skills
High level of initiative with the ability to prioritise and organise workload and work well under pressure
Ability to forge relationships whilst maintaining professional boundaries
Competent in risk assessment/ safety planning, with excellent record keeping and report writing skills.
Competent in ICT with ability to effectively use housing management software systems
Knowledge and understanding of complexity of issues surrounding homelessness
Understanding of housing income streams
Knowledge of relevant housing legislation and local authority policy
Sound understanding of safeguarding practice and procedure
Knowledge of relevant local support networks and stakeholders
Highly committed to improving the lives of those who have experienced homelessness and helping them achieve successful resettlement
Full driving licence and use of a car
Ability to work flexible hours including being part of the on-call rota
Work within the boundaries of IMPAKT policies and procedures
Willingness to develop within the job and undergo relevant training
Friendly personality with a good sense of humour
