ABOUT US:
Comfizz might be small, but we are beautifully formed We are one of the most innovative, forward-thinking companies in our market (Ostomy/Hernia Support Wear). We help people living with an ostomy find comfort and confidence again after their life-changing surgery.
We’ve helped more than 50,000 people over 20+ years with our award-winning products, and we were recently nominated as finalists in the National Entrepreneurs Best Family Business Awards.
We love seeing the difference our products truly make to people's lives and are looking for someone with a similar passion.
We are a team of 6 (4 in-house, 2 remote) with big ambitions to expand our reach and help even more people with an ostomy globally. That’s why we are now looking to add a key new member to our team who shares our values –
Always- “Listen Carefully -Do Your Best Work – Stay Curious – Be Kind”
Your role will be admin/sales with a focus on building relationships with nurses and processing patient referral orders. This will involve office-based work with some time travelling to meet and train nurses on Comfizz products. We have a motto which says “no job is not my job”, meaning you will have a defined role and purpose within the team but will occasionally be asked to help out wherever needed in other tasks. We like to see this as variety and an opportunity to grow.
We envisage the time spent in the office will be 3-4 days with 1-2 days out seeing nurses, but this will evolve and may become more of one or the other.
It’s an ideal post for someone who
· Is a great ‘people person’ who can listen carefully before acting.
· Likes to be organised and enjoys administrative tasks.
· Embraces opportunities to develop and learn
· Is confident in using existing systems but curious enough to seek ways to improve if one can be found.
· Has a kind and caring nature
** Reasons Why We're a Great Place To Work **
· As a small company, you won’t just be a small cog in a big machine; you will be a linchpin, a key member whose work will be highly valued.
· Our office and warehouse are in a residential area, easy to access and park
· It’s a homely and comfortable place to work, with free snacks, tea and coffee on hand all day.
· You will be supported and encouraged to do your best work with quarterly opportunities to earn a reward.
· We have a relaxed approach to our team. Because they are all so awesome, we don’t need to micromanage anyone. You’ll be fully trained, then expected to give 100% without the need to be pushed; we expect you to push yourself. Of course, we’re here to support you but want you to own your role and grow in it. We’ll positively encourage you to share your ideas. Not that we can adopt them all, but we will work on genuinely good ones.
Let's Talk Money:
We are offering a salary of £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience. The hours will be Mon – Fri, from 9-5pm . You will be required to work in-house, not remotely, but the role will require you to travel to see nurses in hospitals around the country. Travel expenses will be met.
We offer 28 days' holiday per year; this includes bank holidays

We work in our office at Units 1-2 Woodlands Complex, Stanks Lane South, LS14 5LN (sorry, despite the name, it’s definitely not in Woodland).
You’ll have your own workstation, either in a shared office with one other person or in an office of your own. The warehouse is downstairs, where you’ll help process orders, receive deliveries (approx. once a month, we all muck in) and keep everything tidy and efficient.
