Shop & Café Assistant (Wellington, Somerset)
Monday 9.00–17.00
Tuesday - Friday 10.00 – 17.00
All shifts will contain a half hour unpaid break.
Additional hours for holiday cover will be available.
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable person to join our team at Ruxstons, a shop, café and chocolate factory in the heart of Wellington, Somerset.
What you’ll be doing:
- Making Coffee
- General Cleaning
- Stacking Shelves
- Basic food preparation
- Serving customers at the till
- Making Chocolate
You’ll need a positive attitude, a competitive spirit, a willingness to learn, and the ability to stay calm when things get busy. Being able to multi-task is essential.
We’re looking for someone understanding and thoughtful, who can put themselves in a customer’s shoes. As the business is growing quickly, the ability to solve problems on the fly and work independently is highly valued. If you are the type of person who likes to beat their personal best then you will fit in well.
An interest in good food, especially natural or premium products, would be a real bonus.
