Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that enhance the aesthetic appeal of office, commercial, health and mental health environments. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of paint or wallpaper
- Apply paints, varnishes, stains, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to achieve desired results
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver tailored decorating solutions
- Maintain a safe work environment by following health and safety regulations at all times
- Manage materials efficiently, including mixing paints and preparing surfaces for decoration
- Complete projects within designated timelines while ensuring high standards of quality and craftsmanship
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating across diverse environments
- Valid driving license to facilitate transportation of tools and materials to various job sites
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and suppliers
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to working at heights or on scaffolding is preferred
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or project specifications is advantageous
- Previous experience working in fast-paced live environment is a plus

Pay: £17.00-£19.00 per hour
