Overall Purpose of the Job We are seeking a motivated Workshop Technician to join our Subsea product line team, supporting the maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair of specialist equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a safety-focused environment where quality, teamwork, and operational excellence are key. Key Activities and Accountabilities
Carry out preventative and predictive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment in line with company procedures, quality standards, and certification requirements
Assist with the rig-up, assembly, and rig-down of equipment as required
Conduct equipment inspections and ensure all associated documentation is completed accurately and maintained at the correct revision level
Complete and update job packs and return documentation to supervisors at the end of each work period
Support the safe loading, unloading, and movement of equipment, including forklift operations where appropriately qualified
Liaise with Logistics, Stores, and Operations teams to ensure materials, parts, and equipment are available to meet operational requirements
Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and work planning sessions
Maintain high housekeeping standards, ensuring workshop areas and tools are clean, organised, and fit for purpose
Report incidents, hazards, and non-conformances in accordance with company procedures
Work closely with supervisors, technicians, and operational personnel to ensure safe and efficient completion of work activities
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
Previous experience in a workshop, mechanical, manufacturing, or maintenance environment is desirable.
Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Forklift certification would be advantageous.
