Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for all visitors. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and minibar supplies in guest rooms
- Adhere to organisational standards for presentation and hygiene
Experience
- Previous hotel experience is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience in hospitality or janitorial services will be considered an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service are important
