Job Description
We are currently looking to hire on a permanent basis an experienced Furniture maker/ Wood specialist based in Leicester.
We are a busy point of sale manufacturer who specialises in retail. We are looking for a person to run our in-house joinery manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for providing the highest standard of bespoke joinery ensuring the furniture you produce matches the vision of our client’s expectations.
Requirements include:
- Using various types of tools and wood machinery
- Operating, Routers, Edgebander, Planers, table Saw machines
- Working as an individual or as part of a team
- Proficient in the safe use of bench joinery machines.
- Experienced in edge banding machinery preferred
- Capable of wet spraying preferred
- CNC capable preferred
The Person:
- Experience operating CNC machinery joinery
- Multiple wood types product experience
- Expert in creating quality products
- Working from 2D/3D CAD specifications and diagrams and interpret visual instructions.
- Hardworking and takes responsibility in making sure deadlines are met.
