Van Driver (Category B Licence)
We are looking for van drivers to join our Transport Department. As one of our delivery drivers, your role goes beyond simply travelling from A to B. You will be responsible for multi-drop deliveries, ensuring every customer order is delivered with care while providing friendly, professional customer service that our clients can rely on.
This is a physically demanding role that involves manual handling, making it more active than many other driving positions. However, the variety of the work, regular customer interaction, and the satisfaction of a job well done make every day rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out multi-drop deliveries to customers
- Collecting returns, surplus stock and customer complaints
- Keeping your allocated vehicle clean, roadworthy and in good working order
- Reporting any vehicle faults or defects to your supervisor
- Processing customer paperwork and completing route-related documentation
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time
Requirements
- Full UK Category B driving licence
- Good communication skills in English
- Willingness to commit to long-term employment
- Reliable, responsible and committed to delivering high standards
- Good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Good organisational skills
