About Us & The Role We’re A-Z Truck Parts, a growing, family-run commercial vehicle parts specialist in Stoke-on-Trent. We need a hardworking Warehouse Associate to help run our busy 15,000 sq.ft facility.
Your main job is keeping the warehouse organized and orders flowing. However, we work as a team here—so when our regular drivers are off or we're slammed with orders, we need you to jump in the van and help out with local deliveries.
What You’ll Do
- Manage Stock: Receive incoming parts from suppliers, log them into our system, and keep the warehouse safe and tidy.
- Prep Orders: Pick and pack daily orders accurately for the delivery drivers.
- Drive When Needed: Step in to cover local delivery routes to trade accounts when we're short-staffed or busy.
- Handle Returns: Process customer returns and identify core parts.
What You Need
- Warehouse Experience: You're used to a fast-paced warehouse environment (automotive or heavy parts experience is a huge plus).
- Attention to Detail: You have a keen eye for cross-referencing complex part numbers so the right gear goes to the right customer.
- Driving License: Full UK driving license (max 3 points). Because you will be our backup driver, candidates must meet the minimum age requirements set by our commercial fleet insurance provider.
- Physical Fitness: Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Bonus Skills: A valid Forklift license is great, but not required.
