Job Summary
We are seeking experienced, qualified Carpenters specialising in on site installations of SIPs garden rooms leisure buildings.
Experience in installation of garden rooms, framing and fitting is essential, although training on our installation process and system will be given.
Installation will predominantly be in the central regions (within an hour of our base in Upton upon Severn, however there will be a requirement to work on sites in different areas across the UK, and overnight stays may be required.
The work is due to last for 8 weeks minimum, with the likelihood of becoming a full-time permanent role. Initially, this can be engaged through CIS or on PAYE.
Duties
- Undertake carpentry and installation tasks including SIPs installation, framing, fitting, and finishing work
- Install roofing structures, joinery elements, and other timber frameworks
- Perform heavy lifting of materials safely and efficiently on-site
- Follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise installation
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as, electricians, decorators and plumbers to ensure installation requirements are met
- Maintain high standards of workmanship
Requirements
- Holder of a Full UK Driving License
- Proven experience in carpentry
- Skilled in carpentry, joinery, roofing
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry and general construction
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures on construction sites
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day
