Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CQC Registered Manager to lead and oversee the operations of a care home dedicated to providing exceptional senior care. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services that meet all regulatory standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Your leadership will foster a positive environment for both residents and staff, promoting dignity, independence, and well-being. Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring smooth operational functioning and high standards of care.
- Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Oversee medication administration processes to guarantee safety, accuracy, and compliance with legal requirements.
- Supervise and support care staff through effective leadership, supervision, training, and development initiatives.
- Ensure all activities comply with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation; prepare for inspections and maintain continuous compliance.
- Foster a caring environment by promoting best practices in senior care, assisted living, nursing home standards, and home care services.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels efficiently to deliver quality care while maintaining operational excellence.
- Build strong relationships with residents’ families and external health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care delivery.
Experience
- Proven experience working within assisted living or nursing home environments with a strong understanding of senior care needs.
- Demonstrable experience in managing or supervising teams within a care home setting.
- Knowledge of dementia care strategies and Alzheimer’s disease management techniques.
- Familiarity with CQC regulations, compliance procedures, and inspection processes as a registered manager.
- Background in nursing or healthcare management is highly desirable; relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Experience in developing and implementing effective care plans that prioritize resident safety and well-being.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage change, and foster a positive workplace culture focused on excellence in care.
