Teaching Assistant (2a) - Temporary Fixed Term Contract (with the possibility of becoming permanent)
The Headteacher and Governors of Ashton Community Primary School are looking to appoint a temporary Teaching Assistant 2a (grade 4) on a fixed term contract to 31 August 2027. The hours of work are 32.5 per week - 8:30am 3:30pm, term-time only. Please note there is the possibility of the role becoming permanent (dependent on funding).
The role involves working one one-to-one basis with a child who requires support with their social, emotional and mental health.

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent).
Essential Experience
- Be creative, resilient and able to establish positive relationships with pupils;
- have experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age;
- have experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour;
- have the ability to relate well to children; plus
