Amco Renewables is a wholesale supplier of renewable energy equipment, supplying MCS-certified installers across the UK with heat pumps, solar panels, battery storage, and EV charging equipment. As part of the PHS Group, we're growing fast — and we're looking for someone to help lead that growth from the front of house.
The Role
We're looking for a Branch Manager to take ownership of our Doncaster branch — overseeing day-to-day running of the counter, stock, team, and customer experience.
This is an entry-level branch management role, and we're open to people stepping up into their first branch manager position. If you've been running a retail store, managing a trade counter, or overseeing day-to-day operations somewhere else, this could be the perfect next step. We're not expecting years of branch management experience — we're looking for the right person with the right attitude, who we can back to grow into the role.
You'll report directly into our Group Commercial Director, who'll support you as you settle in and grow — so you're never figuring it out alone. You don't need to know renewables inside out on day one either. We'll get you up to speed on the products and the industry — what matters most is that you know how to run a branch, lead a small team, and look after customers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Running the day-to-day operations of the branch — stock, deliveries, counter sales, and general upkeep
- Leading and motivating a small branch team, setting the tone for how the branch operates
- Building relationships with our installer customers — the trade professionals who rely on us for their supply chain
- Making sure customers get a fast, reliable, friendly experience every time they call or visit
- Managing stock levels and working with the wider Amco team to keep availability strong
- Handling day-to-day admin, ordering, and basic reporting
- Upholding health & safety standards across the branch
What We're Looking For
- Experience managing a retail store, trade counter, or similar operational environment
- A natural leader — someone who can motivate a small team and lead by example
- Strong organisational skills and a hands-on approach
- Great with customers — friendly, straight-talking, and reliable
- Comfortable with day-to-day admin and basic reporting
- No renewables experience required — full training and support provided

Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
