Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Technician specialising in Crown and Bridge fabrication to lead our laboratory team as the Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the design, creation, and quality assurance of dental crowns, bridges, and other prosthetic restorations. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive exceptional care through precise, durable, and aesthetically pleasing dental work. As a leader in our practice, you will coordinate closely with dental professionals to deliver outstanding results that enhance patient satisfaction and confidence.
This role has the option to be full time or from 32.5 Hours upwards.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the crown and bridge laboratory, ensuring timely production and delivery of restorations.
- Supervise and mentor a team of dental technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Oversee the design and fabrication process of crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays, and other prosthetic devices using advanced materials and techniques.
- Maintain strict quality control standards to ensure restorations meet clinical specifications and patient needs.
- Collaborate with dentists to interpret prescriptions accurately and discuss customization options for optimal patient outcomes.
- Implement efficient workflow processes utilizing IT systems for case tracking, documentation, and communication.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, infection control protocols, and industry best practices at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Technician specialsing in Crown and Bridge work with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with dental professionals and team members.
- Ability to organize multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of patient care principles related to prosthetic dentistry is a plus but not mandatory.
- Fluency in English is required for clear communication within the team and with external partners.
- Familiarity with IT systems used for case management and record keeping is highly desirable.
