Part Time Community Support Workers Required
Home at Peace is expanding and we are looking for compassionate, reliable and organised individuals to join our growing team.
We currently have several part time opportunities available in:
- Thornton Heath (CR7)
- South Norwood (SE25)
- Streatham (SW16)
We are particularly interested in applicants who live close to these areas to minimise travel time and provide consistent support to our clients.
These roles are ideal for people looking for regular part time work, with opportunities for additional hours as Home at Peace continues to grow.
About the Role
You will support adults to remain independent in their own homes and communities. Duties may include:
- Personal care
- Domestic support and housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Companionship
- Community support and accompanying clients to appointments
- Shopping and errands
- Administrative support where required
- Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing
Some positions require confidence using a computer to support clients during online meetings or therapeutic sessions.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Lives within easy travelling distance of CR7, SE25 or SW16
- Is caring, patient and dependable
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Has good domestic and organisational skills
- Is able to work independently and use their own initiative
- Has basic computer skills and can maintain accurate records
- Is flexible and willing to increase hours as additional clients join the service
Previous care experience is welcomed but is not essential. Applicants with transferable skills, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to support others are encouraged to apply.

Hourly rates vary depending on the client package.
