Location: Kingussie, Scottish Highlands
Salary: £32,000–£34,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7

We are a welcoming 21-bedroom Highland hotel in the heart of Kingussie, offering guests warm Scottish hospitality, a popular traditional carvery, a busy bar, and an à la carte restaurant. We pride ourselves on using quality ingredients and delivering consistently high standards of food and service.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will take responsibility for your section, assisting with the preparation and service of meals across our restaurant, bar menu, traditional carvery, and functions when required.

Responsibilities
- Run and organise your designated section.
- Prepare fresh ingredients and dishes to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent food quality and presentation.
- Work across the à la carte restaurant, bar menu, and traditional Sunday carvery.
- Assist with stock rotation and food ordering.
- Follow all food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
- Help maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen.
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering excellent service.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready for promotion.
- Good knowledge of fresh food preparation.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- Food Hygiene qualification (preferred).
- Passion for producing quality food.
