Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Bistro/Tea-Room Manager to lead our vibrant dining team and ensure an exceptional guest experience in our bistro within our farmshop. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hospitality. Duties
- Supervise daily bistro operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service delivery
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of servers, cooks, and support staff to achieve operational excellence
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
- Implement food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food production costs effectively
- Train staff on hospitality best practices, serving techniques, and safety procedures
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and resolve any service issues promptly
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example and foster a positive work environment
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food production processes, and barista experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage guests effectively
- Previous hotel or restaurant management experience is advantageous

SALARY TO BE DISCUSSED - DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE
