Reporting to: Cleaning Manager
Payrate: £12.71 per hour
Shift pattern: Mon - Friday 05:30-12:30 35 hours per week
Due to the nature of this role, which involves cleaning female's changing rooms while they are in use, this position is open to female applicants only. This is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Gym Club Cleaning Team Member

Your responsibilities
As part of our cleaning team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the club, including:
- Cleaning gym equipment, fitness studios and sports areas
- Maintaining changing rooms, floors, showers, toilets and spa facilities
- Cleaning reception areas, cafés, lounges and member spaces
- Vacuuming, mopping and maintaining floors throughout the club
- Emptying bins and managing waste correctly
- Replenishing consumables including soap, paper products and hygiene supplies
- Ensuring all areas are clean, hygienic, safe and ready for members to enjoy
- Following cleaning schedules, health & safety procedures and company standards
- Providing friendly assistance to members and working positively with the wider club team
What we're looking for
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent customer service skills and confidence working around members of the public.
- Someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional standards.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of an engaging team.
- Flexible to work a range of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends where required.
