Coast 2 Country Cleaning is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Operative to join our team on a part-time basis. This position offers 10 hours per week with the opportunity to pick up overtime hours covering holidays/sickness. Position: Commercial Cleaning Operative
Hours: 7 hours per week
Location: Beaminster
Shift Pattern - Saturday
Salary up to: £13.00ph
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing in assigned areas.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the premises.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
- Empty and properly dispose of general waste and recycling materials.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing duties.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina, as cleaning tasks may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within the given time frame.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
