Job Overview
Seeeking a motivated and skilled Mig Welder/Fabricator to join small but fast growing business . In this role, you will be responsible for the welding and fabrication of small to medium sized projects & be responsible for ensuring quality standards are met.
Duties
- Perform MIG welding using various techniques to join metal parts accurately according to specifications
- Fabricate components from sheet metal and other materials, ensuring proper measurements and cuts
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during fabrication processes
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to guide work
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or structures
- Conduct quality checks on welds and fabricated components to ensure compliance with standards
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience with MIG welding, especially welding techniques
- Proficiency in TIG welding is a plus but not required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication equipment
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting parts accurately
- Familiarity with assembly processes and understanding of mechanical principles
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
This is a full time position & could be an opportunity for the right person to grow with the company, flexible hours are available but punctuality is a must.
Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
