Excell Supply is recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Day-to-Day Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Rhyl and the surrounding area.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, teaching assistants, youth workers, sports coaches, or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking for flexible work within education.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning while maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment. No planning or marking is required.
The Role
- Deliver pre-set work to secondary school students.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Ensure a safe, positive and productive learning environment.
- Support students throughout the lesson.
- Report back to teaching staff at the end of each day.
- Work on a flexible, day-to-day basis to suit your availability.

- Experience working with children or young people (desirable).
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Confidence leading groups of students.
- A positive, adaptable and professional attitude.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
