The Homes
St Brelades and the Cumberland are highly regarded care homes in Herne Bay for older ladies and Gentlemen suffering with dementia. They have been given an overall rating of 'Good' in every domain by CQC. Our aim is to enable the ladies to achieve a meaningful and fulfilling life, and to give them a high sense of well-being through the way we engage and interact with them individually.
Role of Domestic
To work as part of a team with other members of staff in maintaining and promoting the cleanliness and general hygiene of the St Brelades Home.
We are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative. Duties include, systematic general cleaning, vaccuuming, dusting, polishing, cleaning bathrooms, washing paintwork and mopping floors. Highlighting areas where maintenance is needed.
Refilling of paper towels, and hand gels. Sorting and processing laundry and returning items to the residents rooms
The disclosure expense will be met initially by the applicant, but will be fully refunded after 12 weeks of employment. Full induction and statutory training will also be provided.
