About EVILL MEP
EVILL MEP is a fast-growing Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering high-quality commercial, industrial, retail, education and defence projects across the South of England.
Due to continued growth, we're looking for experienced commercial electricians to join our team on either a PAYE or self-employed basis.
Whether you're looking for the security of permanent employment or prefer working as a subcontractor, we'd like to hear from you.
The Role
You'll be carrying out a wide range of commercial electrical installation works, including:
- Containment installation (tray, basket, trunking and conduit)
- First and second fix electrical installations
- Lighting and emergency lighting
- Power and distribution systems
- Fire alarm installations
- Data cabling
- Testing and fault finding (where applicable)
- Reading and working from drawings
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health & safety
Our projects include commercial, retail fit-outs, schools, warehouses, manufacturing facilities and defence establishments.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- AM2
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS Gold Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Commercial installation experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Pride in producing high-quality work
- Security clearance or willingness to undergo clearance
- 2391 Inspection & Testing
Desirable Qualifications
- IPAF
- PASMA
- SSSTS
- Fire alarm experience

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday

Oppurtunties to work on projects that require working away from home during the week, with hotel accommodation and expenses provided where applicable.
Pay: £25.00-£35.00 per hour
