About Horizon Teaching
Horizon Teaching is a growing tutoring agency providing high-quality tutoring for students from Primary level through to GCSE and A-Level.
We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual to help us grow our student base by identifying new tutoring opportunities across social media and online communities.
The Role
As a Student Acquisition & Lead Generation Assistant, your main responsibility will be to find potential students and parents who are actively looking for tutoring and introduce them to Horizon Teaching.
You will be responsible for researching different online platforms, identifying relevant enquiries and generating genuine leads for our tutoring services.
Key Responsibilities
- Search Facebook groups, Instagram, TikTok, Nextdoor, Reddit and other relevant platforms for people looking for tutoring.
- Identify parents and students who may benefit from Horizon Teaching.
- Respond to relevant posts and enquiries professionally and appropriately.
- Introduce potential customers to Horizon Teaching and explain our tutoring services.
- Generate and maintain a consistent pipeline of new leads.
- Follow up with interested prospects where appropriate.
- Record leads, conversations and outcomes accurately in our lead tracker.
- Work closely with the Horizon Teaching team to convert leads into trial lessons and regular students.
- Research new platforms, groups and communities where potential customers can be found.
- Provide regular updates on leads generated, conversations started and students acquired.
- Ensure all communication represents Horizon Teaching professionally.

- Results-driven and motivated by targets.
- Previous experience in sales, lead generation, recruitment, social media or customer service is beneficial but not essential.

This is a results-focused role for someone who enjoys finding opportunities, communicating with people and helping a business grow.
Pay: £10,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
