The role will involve:

- Developing and presenting project proposals
- Meeting with clients to find out their requirements
- Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales
- Completing the take-off for a wide range of projects
- Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients
- Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers to obtain quotes for labour and materials required for each project
- Managing programmes and budgets including contract variations if required
- To start off jobs on site and also to attend site meetings to monitor progress
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers
- Working with third party sub-contractors to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities
- Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical and quality standards
- Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, and the client’s own representatives
