Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and painting vehicle surfaces to a high standard, ensuring a professional finish. Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as required before painting
- Match/blend colours accurately to achieve the desired finish
- Apply paint using spray gun ensuring even coverage and quality standards are met
- Perform touch-ups and refinishing work as necessary for a flawless appearance
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Assist with fabricating or repairing parts when needed, utilising welding or panel beating skills if applicable
- Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of protective equipment at all times
Skills
- Strong knowledge related to vehicle surfaces and painting techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in automotive refinishing
- Experience with panel beating or fabricating materials is advantageous for specialised repairs or customisation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large panels or equipment
- Skilled in assembly processes relevant to automotive finishing tasks
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality paintwork with minimal defects
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
