Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness at our customer near Bentley Bridge. Working Monday to Friday 5pm-7pm The successful candidate will be organised, reliable, and committed to delivering quality service in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces in commercial spaces.
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and used correctly.
- Follow specified cleaning schedules and procedures accurately.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning routines to management promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a busy environment.
