In this lively role, you’ll be the face of our catering services, delivering exceptional guest experiences within our friendly Golf Club. Your energy and attention to detail will ensure every meal service runs smoothly, creating memorable moments for our members and visitors. This job is perfect for those passionate about food, service, and creating positive impressions in a fast-paced environment. Please note this role involves weekend and evening work as well as weekday shifts. Due to the nature of the business we cannot guarantee any set shift pattern so flexibility around working hours is essential. Please note that most of our casual staff also work more than 16 hours per week
Duties
- Set up catering stations with food, beverages, and serving ware in preparation for functions.
- Serve food and drinks to customers with professionalism and a friendly attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout service periods
- Follow food safety standards to ensure all items are handled hygienically and correctly
- Assist with food preparation tasks under supervision to support kitchen operations
- Clear tables, replenish supplies, and assist with clean-down after functions.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions and ensuring guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant settings is essential
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper handling of food and beverages
- Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hotel or event catering experience is advantageous but not essential
- Demonstrated teamwork skills and a proactive attitude towards supporting colleagues
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential for this customer facing role.
