Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Reception Supervisor/Duty Manager to oversee the front desk operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest services, supervising front-of-house staff, and maintaining smooth daily operations. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of front desk staff, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out procedures.
- Provide outstanding guest service, addressing enquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Oversee reservation systems, manage bookings, and handle special requests with professionalism.
- Support human resources functions such as staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including security protocols and emergency procedures.
- Assist in managing daily operations, including liaising with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
- Lead by example in delivering exemplary hospitality standards and fostering a positive team environment.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns diplomatically to maintain high levels of guest loyalty.
- Maintain accurate records related to guest services, staff attendance, and operational reports.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong background in guest services and hospitality management.
- Experience in human resources functions such as staff training, scheduling, and performance management is advantageous.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to facilitate communication with diverse guests and team members.
- Previous leadership roles demonstrating the ability to motivate teams and manage operational challenges effectively.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation platforms is preferred.

Pay: £24,420.00-£42,173.22 per year
