Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of foods, coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols to ensure a clean, safe environment for staff and customers.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening, closing, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate staff to achieve performance goals.
- Ensure timely food preparation and beverage delivery while maintaining high quality standards.
- Monitor cleanliness and organization of the workspace to create an inviting atmosphere for guests.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
- Prior leadership or managerial experience in a food service setting is preferred.
- Solid understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and inventory purposes.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Strong communication skills to engage with customers and collaborate with team members effectively.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
