Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our friendly and dynamic team here at Richmond Park Hotel.
Reporting to the head and Sous Chef, the Kitchen Porter will support the chef and kitchen team in maintaining hygiene and cleanliness levels in the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining a supply of clean ware, cooking ware and kitchen utensils at all times.
- Responsible for all the cleanliness of the kitchen at all times.
- Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP standards.
Skills
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of food preparation processes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
- Flexibility in working hours as role includes working mornings/evenings/weekends.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Experience:
- Food preparation: 1 year (required)
- Kitchen experience: 1 year (required)
