Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. We are opening a new cafe in a fixed location within a new wellness centre called Igloo. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve not only crafting delicious coffee and tea drinks but also ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to hygiene practices during food preparation and serving.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and manage the till with basic math skills.
- Keep the workspace clean and organised, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including pastries and light snacks.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Experience
- Previous barista experience is essential.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations is an advantage.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
- Basic math skills are required for handling cash transactions accurately.

Pay: £12.21-£14.50 per hour
