Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality dental care, perform restorative procedures, and support patient education. Your expertise in dental anatomy, medical imaging, and CAD (computer-aided design) will be essential in providing comprehensive treatment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on patients’ oral health while working in a collaborative setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide preventive and restorative dental treatments under the supervision of a dentist
- Perform dental examinations, including assessments of oral health and anatomy knowledge to identify issues accurately
- Use CAD software and medical imaging tools to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term health
- Assist with minor surgical procedures and manage patient comfort throughout treatments
- Maintain accurate patient records, including detailed documentation of procedures performed
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the practice
Requirements
- Valid certification or license as a Dental Therapist or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and reassure patients
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety
