As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of our client programmes, strengthen our delivery capability and help shape the way projects are managed across the business.
The Opportunity
This is more than a project management role.
You’ll lead the delivery of multiple client programmes while helping to shape how PurpleMedia operates. You’ll manage a small team of Project Managers, ensure consistent delivery standards across the business and work closely with the Directors to continually improve our ways of working.
You’ll become a trusted partner to both our clients and our internal teams, bringing structure, confidence and commercial awareness to every project.
Reporting directly to a Director, you’ll have the opportunity to influence how we deliver work, develop people and scale the business.
Key Responsibilities Leadership
· Lead and support a small team of Project Managers.
· Create a collaborative, high-performing delivery culture.
· Provide coaching and guidance to the team.
· Support recruitment and onboarding of future Project Managers.
· Work closely with the Directors to improve our delivery function.
Project Delivery
· Lead the delivery of multiple concurrent projects for global clients.
· Build detailed project plans using Smartsheet.
· Manage resource allocation and forecasting using Smartsheet Resource Management.
· Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality.
· Identify, manage and resolve risks, issues and dependencies.
· Facilitate project governance meetings and provide accurate reporting.
Operational Excellence
· Own and champion PurpleMedia’s project delivery processes.
· Ensure agreed governance, workflows and quality standards are consistently followed across the business.
· Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, communication and planning.
· Help develop new delivery frameworks, templates and best practice.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives across the wider business.
Client Partnership
· Build trusted relationships with clients from project kick-off through to completion.
· Understand each client’s commercial objectives and ensure delivery supports those goals.
· Communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
· Manage expectations professionally, balancing quality, budget and timescales.
· Act as the senior escalation point where required.

Essential Experience
· Significant experience managing complex client projects.
· Experience leading or mentoring Project Managers.
· Advanced Smartsheet experience.
· Experience using Smartsheet Resource Management.
· Strong project planning and resource forecasting skills.
· Budget management and commercial awareness.
· Excellent stakeholder management.
· Outstanding written and verbal communication.
· Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
· Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
Desirable Experience
· Learning and development industry experience.
· Digital agency or creative agency background.
· Agile, APM or equivalent.
· Experience working with global organisations.
· Process improvement or operational excellence experience.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
