Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Dentist to provide urgent dental care services in a fast-paced clinical environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental emergencies promptly, ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role offers an opportunity to work within a supportive team, utilise advanced dental technologies, and make a significant impact on patients' oral health during critical moments. The position is paid and suitable for qualified dentists specialising in emergency dental procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose dental emergencies efficiently, prioritising patient needs
- Perform urgent treatments including extractions, root canals, and temporary restorations
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy to ensure precise procedures
- Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays to inform treatment plans
- Provide clear explanations to patients regarding their condition and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and follow-up procedures
Qualifications
- Fully qualified Dentist with registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Proven experience in emergency dental care or acute dental treatments is desirable
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to oral and maxillofacial regions
- Competent in interpreting medical imaging such as X-rays
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to reassure anxious patients
- Ability to work effectively under pressure within a dynamic environment
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and patient confidentiality

Pay: £37,482.93-£138,883.67 per year
