We are recruiting on behalf of a nursery based in Cartmel, Cumbria that is looking to recruit a Nursery Deputy Manager/Senior Lead Experience to start with them on a part time basis from 18th May 2026.
Job Details:
- Start: 18th May 2026
- Location: Cartmel, Cumbria
- Hours: Initially 3 days per week leading up to 3 days per week
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 years of management experience
- 2 years of childcare experience
- Minimum of a level 3 Early Years qualification
- Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To promote and support the aims and vision of the nursery and assist the manager in implementing these objectives and policies, ensuring the provision has high standards of personal, physical and personal and social care.
- Assist with all administrative procedures.
- To provide high standards of care and learning to the children
- To support the team to provide an enabling environment in which all children can play, learn and develop.
- Assist the manager in showing prospective parents around the setting and sending out all relevant information.
